The White Unicorn

Imagine an angel galloping towards you on an white unicorn and halting infront of you and telling you, "I have come to take you to the heaven".

How does this words feel? Did you have any vision in your mind?
Probably you imagined a white unicorn in your mind.

Do you really believe in unicorns? Then how could you imagine it? May be you have seen animated Unicorns in TV.
If just one sentence can make you imagine something that doesn't exists, think what will a whole book do to your mind.
Mind...or factually Brain, is an amazing thing. Feed it with anything and it will blow up and fill your life with that thing.

Somehow we fail to realize that we are evolving, not just materially but also intellectually.
Our understanding about our own self and the world around is constantly growing, not by speculations but by experimental evidence that science provides.
But it's really unfortunate that people are still stuck to the age old methods that are not only redundant but also hindering the growth of society.
It may sound blasphemous (and it should, as it's the right thing to do) but praying to god is no way better than snoring.
We are just trapped in this illusion/hallucination that living a religious life is the right way.
There is no other right way than being rational and inquisitive.
Is human mind still so weak that it needs a fake supernatural being to feel strong?
And what's supernatural? Anything that exists in Nature has to be natural.
Frankly, today(or all these days), all this has been big money making businesses.
We educated people too are falling for such frauds.
One says he is using quantum mechanics to heal souls, and we start believing him because he wears a nice coat and writes eloquently.
Some start chanting and dancing to please god; what a waste of precious time and energy, that could have been used for something productive for the society.

Religion has some nice concept of morality and ethics but I don't think Religion created morality. It had to be part of Religion else no one will follow it.
You can still be ethical and moral without being pious.
The only need of religion/god that is left is to give strength and forgiveness, but once people start realizing their own infinite capabilities, religion will have no purpose left.
Many of you might have experienced something divine and supernatural. Sadly it's just hallucination. We trick our own brain to imagine things and feel the way we want to, not consciously but by intuition.
I am not saying it's any disease or you are crazy, it's that we all hallucinate to certain extent and it's natural to do so.

The only way we can really know 'real' things is by observation through our 'senses' not by imagination and hallucination. I highlighted 'senses' because our eastern philosophy is so much against senses and asks us to tame it (or ignore it)
That was meant for brutes and barbarians but not for rationals. Without senses, the so called pious people can't even hallucinate about their gods. If you are experiencing divinity it's because of your senses. By senses, I don't mean sense organs, I mean the brain which actually processes the senses.

I know I will enrage many with these statements, but if even one starts thinking rationally, it will help society a lot.
I know I am mortal. And I don't have a soul. I will never be born again. But I am not sad about that. I am still ecstatic that I am born, of which the probability was so less. The vastness of the cosmos enthralls me. The nature itself is so extraordinary that I don't need any supernatural junk to feel the goosebumps. I wish everyone could feel those goosebumps which no White Unicorn can ever give!
