How many fingers do you see in the picture above?
Two is the correct answer.
But is that the truth? It is an accepted thing among civilized humans that the formation of fingers above represent the number two, even though we can see the other three fingers.
We can see all the five fingers of the palm, still we ignore them. For us it's two not five.
Why? Because we have been told so. How many other things do we believe just because we are told?
How many other socially correct things do we believe which are not universal truths?
Well...my first reaction was that there are 4 fingers and one thumb :).
